JAN DEKEYSER BECOMES CO-CEO OF WORLD OF TALENTS ALONGSIDE FOUNDER STEVE ROUSSEAU
World of Talents, the international HR group specialised in shortage occupations and talent management, has appointed Jan Dekeyser as co-CEO. From 23 November 2026, he will lead the group together with founder and Group CEO Steve Rousseau. His arrival brings additional experience to World of Talents to accelerate its growth ambitions in a fast-changing HR market.
Eighteen years of entrepreneurship
Steve Rousseau founded World of Talents in 2008 with one conviction: success is an attitude. Over eighteen years, together with his team, he grew a small start-up into an international group with more than 4,500 talents. That growth was built on a clear strategy of specialisation, a distinctly entrepreneurial culture and acquisitions that fit the group’s DNA. From Belgium, World of Talents expanded to the Netherlands and, in 2023, to Germany. The acquisition of VENK in the Netherlands in 2025 further strengthened the group’s skill set and geographical spread.
“I began this story with a handful of people who shared the same passion. Today we are active in three countries with more than 4,500 talents, and I am incredibly proud of that. We owe this to every colleague who has helped build this house. With Jan, we are bringing on board an experienced and driven leader who shares our values. I am really looking forward to building together and to making World of Talents the European benchmark in forward-looking HR solutions,” says Steve Rousseau, founder and Group CEO of World of Talents.
An experienced leader
Jan Dekeyser has 30 years of experience in leadership roles at international companies, including Procter & Gamble, DHL, G4S, Thomas Cook and, most recently, Adecco. With his strategic insight, commercial sharpness and strong focus on people, he built high-performing organisations in fast-changing markets. He now brings that vision and operational drive to World of Talents.
“World of Talents is a unique company. In eighteen years, Steve and his team have built something many organisations can only dream of: a strong specialisation, a genuine entrepreneurial culture and people who make a difference for clients and candidates. I look forward to accelerating that growth together with Steve and all my colleagues. Talent is becoming scarcer and expectations are changing fast. That offers great opportunities for a group that brings together specialisation, entrepreneurship and technology,” says Jan Dekeyser, incoming co-CEO of World of Talents.
