World of Talents has set science-based targets to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions in line with the 1.5°C pathway of the Paris Agreement. Our near-term and net zero targets have been validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
WORLD OF TALENTS
In 2025, WOT commissioned a full greenhouse gas (GHG) baseline assessment for the financial year 2024, covering Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions across our operations in Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.
On the basis of that baseline, WOT has defined and submitted science-based targets to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). Both our near-term reduction target and our long-term net zero target have been validated.
This validation marks an important milestone in our Act for Better journey. By translating our climate ambition into clear, measurable and science-based targets, we are creating a concrete pathway for reducing our impact. The next step is delivery: embedding these commitments into the choices we make across our operations, mobility and value chain
OUR VALIDATED TARGETS
Near-term target (2030)
WOT has set a target to achieve 42% absolute reduction in Scope 1 & 2 emissions by 2030 vs. our 2024 baseline, through fleet electrification and renewable electricity procurement
For Scope 3 WOT has set a target to achieve a 51.6% reduction in emissions intensity per M€ revenue, targeting our two largest sources: company cars and purchased goods & services
Net zero target (2050)
WOT has set a target to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across Scope 1, 2 and 3 by 2050, in line with a 1.5°C-aligned trajectory. Net zero requires reducing absolute emissions by at least 90% relative to the base year, with any residual emissions addressed through permanent carbon removal
Baseline emissions FY24
Scope 1: 7007 tCO2e
Scope 2: 761 tCO2
Scope 3: 8774 tCO2
