This sporty and symbolic action aligned perfectly with their ESG strategy (Environmental, Social & Governance), where World of Talents focused on the combination of sustainability, fun, and social responsibility. This year, they linked their annual Kick-Off at De Barkentijn to an impactful initiative: for every participant, World of Talents donated an amount to Lignaverda, resulting in a total donation of €50,000.
“At World of Talents, we are committed to sustainable initiatives that have a tangible impact on both people and the environment. The decision to support Lignaverda, an organization dedicated to reforestation and nature restoration, fit perfectly with this. Their projects focus on creating new forests and improving the living conditions of local communities,” said Steve Rousseau – CEO of World of Talents.
Actions Spoke Louder than Words
The New Year's dive was just one of many initiatives within the ESG strategy of House of Talents. “In 2025, we continued to focus on ESG. In addition to actions like the New Year's dive, we organized international sports challenges between our different entities within World of Talents. Because employee well-being is also about taking care of our own people,” said Pieter Claeys – CEO of House of Talents.
Additionally, House of Talents remained committed to social impact with initiatives like TAJO and Huis Klaas. This commitment went beyond a single action – it was an ongoing effort to make a difference for both people and the environment.
“Our New Year’s dive perfectly symbolized our HOT DNA: facing challenges, strengthening teamspirit, and taking responsibility,” said Pieter Claeys – CEO of House of Talents.
